We stumbled upon this beautiful little restaurant by accident and she not only served us but also gave us a little history on the area and welcomed us with such generosity. “ I made a reservation just in case one was needed. This time one wasn’t which was cool with me. I was greeted pleasantly by the staff and given pointers on what I should try. The reason being I was indecisive and hungry. The entire menu has plenty of good choices. I ordered the creole wings last minute.. they were not freshly cooked. I could tell by the temperature, yet they were warm . I had the creole gumbo.... Oh weeeeee!! You all have to try that spicy gumbo!! It was delicious to the taste buds. Another meal I had to enjoy with my eyes closed to savor every bite. I set at the bar. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a southern taste. Parking is on the streets. Not wheel chair friendly. ”

“ We came in to eat some yummy creole food and watch a basketball game and it was so nice! Jayla was so kind and helpful. She helped us narrow down our food choices. The Fried green tomatoes were so yummy and crispy with the sauce. My cousin got the Gumbo and I got the Creole Catfish and everything was seasoned well. The gumbo shrimp had great spice and the garlic mashed potatoes were so good with the sauce and good size piece of catfish. I would absolutely come again. I walked away so full and happy! Kudos to Mike for making our food and being so hospitable as well. ”

“ I absolutely loved this place! Upon walking in I instantly felt comfortable and right at home. The staff greeted and seated me swiftly. I chose to sit at the bar for conversation sake and comedian Marvin Davis kept me engaged and laughing. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious! My favorite was the cabbage with turkey...chef’s kiss! And the music makes you feel like you’re in the kitchen with Grandma! My only complaint would be the alcohol selection at the bar. Definitely need to have more options for mixed cocktails but overall I loved it! 9/10 ”

“ Food was amazing and it came fast. We went on soul food Sunday and after ordering it only took 15 minutes for our food to come. The catfish was absolutely delicious, the sauce, the mashed potatoes, the cornbread, cabbage...all of it. Our server Jayla was also really nice and the staff was very attentive to us. “ The restaurant has such a nice and inviting atmosphere when you first walk in. The staff were really nice and attentive of our needs. My sister and I had the creole shrimp, the sauce they served with it was so good and there was a little kick to it. We also ordered the gumbo and the creole catfish, both entrees were really good and flavorful, I’m usually not trusting of catfish, but this one was so well seasoned and just melted in my mouth every bite I took. The portions were very sizable and we have left overs! Definitely going to come back! ”

“ I love the ambience of this place. Staff were quite pleasant. Though there is a bit of wait, in my opinion it isn't long at all for a quality meal. Both my entree and my husband's came out hot and fresh, which we had no qualms about. I'm unsure if they play music all the time but jazz played while we ate our meals. Definitely a 10/10 will recommend. Lovely place for a girl's brunch as well. And don't forget about ordering the peach cobbler! I took one bite of the first one, yes the first one, and immediately ordered another to go. Definitely will be returning ”
